Circular Economy is more than Waste Avoidance and Resource. The circular economy is one that is restorative and regenerative by design and aims to keep products, components, and materials at their highest utility and value at all times. It aims to ultimately decouple global economic development from finite resource consumption. It replaces the ‘end-of-life’ concept with restoration, shifts towards the use of renewable energy, eliminates the use of toxic chemicals, which impair reuse, and aims for the elimination of waste through the superior design of materials, products, systems, and, business models...The circular economy aims to keep products, equipment and infrastructure in use for longer, thus improving the productivity of resources by implying 4Rs. With the advent of newer technologies there is utmost need for using innovating ideas and green technologies for restoration and conservation of our incredible cultural heritage for future generations and eras. India is one of the fastest growing economy in the world. Increase in the GDP has led to significant increase in the consumption patterns, waste generation and India’s ecological footprint. India’s economic growth is adversely impacting the quality of India’s environment and overall quality of life of the Indian people. The World Health Organization's (WHO) latest study on the most polluted places on the planet is out, and it's damning for one country in particular. Of the 10 most polluted cities in the world, nine are in India.
